carl jackson to be inducted into arkansas sports hall of fame

Carl Jackson, who has caddied at The Masters since 1961, will be inducted into the Arkansas Golf Hall of Fame in ceremonies to be held on February 27. Carl helped guide Ben to victories in the 1984 and 1995 Masters as well as the 1991 Colonial National Invitaitonal. His tip to Ben on the Monday of Masters week in 1995 was a crucial factor in Crenshaw's '95 win.

Carl is also in the Arkansas Golf Hall of Fame.

So thrilled to see Carl Jackson finally getting the recognition he deserves! I remember watching the '95 Masters with my dad, and he couldn't stop talking about Carl's impact on Ben's game. As someone who grew up playing golf in the state, I'm genuinely grateful for his dedication and passion for the sport. Congratulations, Carl!

The Arkansas Sports Hall of Fame is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving the history of sports in Arkansas while honoring those who have played or coached in the state. Thank you for sharing your great post!
